We believe that the phenomenon of the crop circles is as interesting as mystified and underestimated.
- If crops circles are made by humans, they appear interesting as form of "land art", moreover succeeded to create a halo of mystery around itself, that makes it even more fascinating.
- If crops circles are made by unknown or alien intelligence, there is no need to explain why we deal with an interesting phenomenon.
- If crops circles are made by atmospheric or natural agents, it would need to understand how and why the nature express itself in such complex and articulated geometric and symbolic forms.
- If it deals with secret experiments, it would be curious to know its lapels.
Maybe a beautiful day the mystery will be solved, and this site will be closed. Until then however we are here to investigate closer and closer. This site doesn't marry any theory, but examines them all without closing some door.
Just departs from a simple verification of fact:
crops circles exist, they are actual under the eyes of everybody.
Nobody, at the moment, is able to explain with absolute certainty,
without possibility to be denied,
their nature, origin; their motive or meaning.
The mystery not only involve ufologists and esoteric, but also scientists, chemical, biologists, meteorologists, in some cases even high military spheres, and in the United Kingdom there has been a debate in Parliament on this theme. This should clear that this phenomenon is not something of little account, a joke or pastime of some joker.
The first intention of this site is that to gather, in an only great file-database accessible from whoever desires it, all the cases of crop circles, held "authentic" or not appeared in our country (Italy), from the origins to the most recent. Case after case they be equipped by a whole information retrieved in various monographs, journals (scientific and not), articles of newspapers and daily paper, other websites and so on.
Close to the database, true pulsating heart of the site, rotates some satellites. First a whole brief text (what you find in the link "theories") that explains what the crops circles really are, the results of the effected studies and the hypotheses and theories that have been proposed for explaining their origin and nature.
Then a bibliography that could help who approaches to this thematic to be able to know the principal publications (papery and multimedial) about it.
Finally the indication of sites link in theme, that could furnish further sprouts and perspectives.
Whoever wants to collaborate in this work is welcome, for instance signalling via-mail the discovery of a pictogram or interesting articles on magazines and daily paper, or still giving his/her own availability to visit by person some formations that eventually had to reveal in the region of affiliation. In the future the hope is to be able to widen this site (or to close it because everything will be clarified on the phenomenon "crop circles"), with the purpose to make it also a meeting point for neophytes, impassioned and researchers.
