(We apologize for possible errors in the translation) A circle in a field of wheat, created on June among 9th and 14th near Potenza Picena, it is object of an article appeared on the newspaper "Il Resto del Carlino" of June 15th. Many people swear to have seen, last night, a series of "anomalous" white and blue lights between, moving toward the sky in the west of the country. Then a series of coincidences has determined an "ufo-effect": sightings and presumed landing of aliens, after the discovery of a breadth "circle" in a field of wheat in "Castelletta", next to Montelupone. There, for a diameter of around 8 meters, the ears appear dejected with a course counterclockwise, without signs of crushing, while everything around the cultivation is entire. The news has immediately recalled hundreds of curious, to see the place of the «landing of the spaceship». [...] "besides the lights - says Paolo F. inahabitans of Potenza Picena - I have also glimpse the round outline of a flying object. Then repeated overflyings of military helicopters, and the morning after I saw that circle in the wheat...». So also the military airplanes contribute to the mystery of this night in Power Picena. Between the 23 o'clock and midnight, in fact, a couple of airplanes repeatedly has overflight "Val d'Asola" at low altitude. [...] It would seem that the Air Force control-room of 114° Radar Group has asked the aerial Defence a precautionary patrol, due to some unidentified radar activity, attributed to the fall of fragments. This would also explain those strange "lights". However the rumors about possible UFOs have been reduced to its true proportion by the investigation on the spot by the policemen. «From a brief verification - explains the marshal Paolo Lovascio - it appears evident the human nature of the action. Setting a baton as fulcrum and a rope, opportunely maneuvered, it is enough to create circles in the wheat». In short: perhaps it only deals with a joke. Another circle in the wheat, however, has also appeared in the countries of Montegranaro, near Ascoli. The Ufoligic Center of Research in Rome has sent some experts ... An interesting investigation on the crop of Potenza Picena has also been developed by Lucio (pseudonym “Warp”) collaborator of some related websites and free researcher, that we thank. He says that there was no hole in the center of the circle, and the crop was perfectly prepared on the North-South axis. The diameter of the circle was 13,5 meters. The ears was folded on the ground, bent but not broken, and there was no signs of burn, nor extension of the knots. |
