For the first (and probably only) time in the history of the crops circles we have a case verified inside the city. Has happened in the EUR district, zone of "Tre Fontane", inside Rome. And this pictogram have also other particularites: the shape, the fact that after the threshing of the wheat the imprints have been still visible for a long time, the birds that plunged themselves inside the imprints, probably attracted by the magnetic waves that the field had absorbed. About all of this also speaks the newspaper “Il Nuovo” of July 18 th 2003.
Also the newspaper ” Il Messagero" was interested in the case (June 16th), with an article of Luca Brugnara, that nevertheless sustains the hypothesis of the joke of some joker (while the National Ufologic Center - C.U.N. - believe the formation to be authentic).

Nor Ufo neither miracle. Only a joke.
Created by a joker the figures in the area of the abbey of "Tre Fontane".
Not ufos nor mysterious signals from the space, but the work of some jokers, simply scored during the night. And everything has now returned already to the normality. Yesterday morning, in the field of wheat to the shoulders of the church "Tre Fontane", in the street "Acque Salvie", unusual geometric signs have appeared. Analogous episodes, in the last days, were occurred in Sabaudia and Montegranaro, and immediately people began to speak about "crop circles". This time, however, the explanation of the ears crushed in geometric way seems to be more terrestrial. «After the signaling of the monks "trappisti"- explain the fireman officers - we have immediately intervened and we have carried out all the observations.
The wheat was indeed crushed and, overflying the ground with the helicopter, we clearly saw that the signs were evidently traced in geometric way. But after this, we have not found anomalies. In the field, besides, compasses and ropes have been found again, probably left by who made this work». The call to the firestation, by the monks of the church, has happened around 9 o'clock in the morning. «Before reaping the wheat - they tell - we have decided to ask for a verification to eliminate every suspicious theorist of magnetic pollution. It has dealt with a well done joke». All the story, is now just a memory. In the first afternoon of yesterday, in fact, the agricultural operators have intervened for reaping the field of wheat, and the "joke" is disappeared forever.
