Between June and July of 2005, the CICAP (Italian Committee for the Control of the Affirmations on the Paranormale) has decided to show that it is possible, with absolutely common means, to realize a crop circle of good invoice. Follow a summoray of the report made by cicap itself:

Monday 28th of June 2005. The owners of a field of wheat next to Bra are prepared to postpone the threshing of a great strip, enough to make the circle that we have in mind. We grant there to refund the small part of damaged wheat, and they will leave us the whole forenoon of Sunday to photograph the circle from the tall one, before finishing the job.

Friday 1 July We have to take some precautions: possession a declaration signed by the owners of the field, warning the policemen that we will be the night there, and things like that. Meanwhile Sergio Brizio, ours "correspondent" from Bra, sends us some photos of the field. Very beautiful! We cannot wait to draw above it...

Saturday 2 July, morning In the afternoon Andrea and Stefano go for measuring the field, so that we'll be sure of the location and could find it even without the light of the day. The field is after all to a little road full of holes, where there is not even a house visible in the outskirtses, nobody will certainly come to disturb us. Andrew and Sergio measure the field...
But there is a problem. The field is very long, more than one hundred meters but about twenty meters more narrow than the expectation. Andrew immediately phones Turin to tell Francis: it needs to refer the accounts on the sketch, and it is better not to owe to do them in the dark of the night. We also take advantage to notice the position with the GPS

Saturday 2 July, evening. Marco Morocutti takes with him his videocamera: he hopes to immortalize the jobs on ribbon, but something doesn't go right... evidently the "energies" that they would act inside the crop circles they succeed in still acting first that formation is realized and elsewhere. We are still in "pizza shop", and the behavior of the television camera is already anomalous; in other words, it is completely out of order. He will had to limit to a recording audio...
The ended circle will have about thirty meters of diameter. We hoped to be able to do something greater, but the field is what is (and we are also all absolute beginners, therefore we don't even want to overdo!). Then we move there on the field. For how much in the fuller legality are, to understand as it works and "to recreate the atmosphere" of the true circlemaking, we have decided to behave us as if we didn't want it stuffed to peck at: dark clothes, no lights or almost. I We prepare the utensils.
Here we are, with the notorious one and discussed technique "aces and ropes! " As should happen in every respectable crop circle, we espect for some mysterious phenomenon: and here it is, in fact, the orbs, to about ten and of all the colors!But the truth is that these "objects",invisible to naked eye, are not anything else other than the reflex of the flash on the particles of dust in suspension in the air.

Domenica 3 July After about twenty minutes of flight the GPS, for the occasion transformed in "revealing of the crop circle, starts to make beep...
And in fact here it is! Well, we are absolutely satisfiedof the result! Finished mission!
