Then Ufoitalia, on May 17 th 2005, receive another signaling that defines at ”elevated level of strangeness”: Initially the team of researchers believes that it deals with a joke, then meets the witness and verifies the seriousness of it. "Kind researchers, on last May 2 I was in Lissone, in the province in Milan. At about 22:00 o'clock I have withdrawn in car with my fiancée, not away from the field in which the formation of which has spoken the site Ufoitalia has appeared. I premise that I also believe that has been work of the wind, considering that it doesn't have a precise form and doesn't remind a crop circle. Around 5 minutes later we have observed an intense light on the field, that has gone down in front of us, to around 20 meters distance, staying suspended to 5 or 6 meters by the field. Brightness has weakened and we have clearly noticed that there was a solid sphere, about 5 meters in diameter, perfectly circular in shape. The Ufo stayed stationary for 30 seconds, then has started waving and finally has been climbed upward, first slowly then accelerating. The mornig later, probably in the same field, therere was that ugly crops circle. Another signaling of this formation is made to Giorgio Pastore and the ste croponline.org, that quickly go there for an examination on the spot and to take some pics: I receive the signaling from a friend: "In Lissone there is a crop circle! ". Obviously, I immediately approach on the place, but what I see it seems just the effect of the wind. In fact, there has been a strong storm with strong gusts of wind two evenings ago. It resembles a lot to the presumed crop circle of Carimate (Co) of 2003. Also in that case, there had been a strong wind few evenings before. [...] Surely, if it concerns indeed a pictogram, it doesn't hold up the comparison with that appeared in Desio (Me), a few kilometers away from here, last year the 4th of July. But there is still time to hope. The crop circles' season 2005 hardly start... we are still in May. If my forecasts are correct, we are having an evolution also here in Brianza, as there is in England. In these last years, in fact, the number of crop circles in Brianza, and in Italy, is quickly increased, almost reaching realizations almost able to compete with those in England. Think about pictograms as that of Desio, Sabaudia or Pontecurone. [...] After having took some photos, I have made some survey, but the result has been negative. Here, an electromagnetism is present in the norm. If indeed it has dealt with a crop circle, by now it is unrecognizable. The strong storm of a couple of days ago, that has brought also some hail, has spoiled the sketch and cancelled every possible residue of electromagnetism. But the doubt if it were authentic or less remains, considering that the other fields of the zone were totally different from this, tidy and entirely intact in their aspect. Did the wind blow only in this field? It is clearly visible that the phenomenon has interested alone a very limited area of the zone. Besides, some ears seemed even to have been torn away with strength by the ground. Such elements would exclude meteorological causes.
