Wednesday 22 June I have personally approached the crop circle in Marsciano (Perugia). The crop was still there, in non optimal conditions.
Unfortunately the passage of thousand of curious -and probably also a few times of rain - had ruined it. What I have seen is an almost perfect circle, of around 20 meters diameter, rotated in hourly sense to the inside, and counterclockwise in the external ring. Nevertheless I have been in presence of many elements that allowed to dubitate of the “authenticity” of the formation. Particularly 2 elements: 1) the central hole of the circle (as well as those of the small circles in the four extremities of the external ring, on all the terminal parts of the "cross" that crosses the central circle) would allow to think to an extraneous body planted in earth to act for center of rotation; 2) the wheat would simply seem folded up in mechanical way (if not uprooted) and it would not seem to be submitted to any form of heat or evident scorch. Moreover, the folding is not always to the exact height of the first nodule, but at times casual. There were no overlapped layers or woven in the inside vegetation. The ears not uproted have the entire and perpendicular roots to the ground. I have to precise that my examination on the spot has happened after 9 days from the day the crop circles was "born", on a field by now ruined. About what concerns the various "escape points" (Pat Delgado call them "vie di fuga": that are some particular inaccurancies on the edges of the circles) and coarse imperfections that I have found on the place, I believe is to attribute - as the cigarettes on the ground and the leftovers of picnic - to the mass of curious approached on the circle without particular motivations
