The 2nd of July 2005, I knew about a splendid formation appeared near Morrovalle Scalo, in the province in Ancona. The “Quotidiano Nazionale" ("Daily National”) on-line (www.qn.quotidiano.net) talks about a great circle, around 48 meters of diameter, with four external rings. The following morning we (as cropfiles.it staff) moved to Morrovalle and in the first afternoon we arrived there. Immediately I realized that the field was meticulously been threshed, exactly in those 50 meters where the crop circle should have been (as you can see in the photos, in the PDF version of this page). The owner of the field, already fed up with the great quantity of curious that went on the place to observe the sketch, had decided to mow the pictogram. The image of the crop is glimpse just under the ears cutted by the threshing-machine, so I realized to have taken a useless trip. In the following days someone has polemized with the town administration not to have prevented the owner of the allotment to thresh in hurry the field. So it seemed we need to be satisfied with some testimony of the graphic reconstruction of the crop through diagram (visible in the PDF vers. of this document). Nevertheless someone quicker than me, had already photographed the crop of Morrovalle, before the threshing-machine cancelled everything.
