The Padova newspaper “Il Mattino", May 10 th 2005, public at pag. 34, among the provincial news, an article of Alberto Sanavia on the recovery of a crop circle in Vigonovo. VIGONOVO. Mysterious circlesin the wheat: the boys shout to the «alien invasion», some think both a gimmick to stimulate the tourism, other think about a publicized joke, but badly stylistically realized. [...] Everything is initiated Saturday - it says the owner of a shop in Vigonovo - when different boys have told me that in that field had appeared strange circles”. Exactly three circles, diameter of around 5 meters everyone. A sketch to spiral inside them it made to suppose that it didn't deal with the action of the wind, but of an imprint created by someone that, perhaps, is armed with so much patience. “Thursday I was passed in bike - it says Alexander, a little boy that frequents the local school - and there was absolutely nothing. Saturday morning I have returned there with some friends, and the figures they were there.” [...] Follow an article by Michele Modesto, that also refer the opinion of the ufologist Antonio Chiumento, that welcomes with enthusiasm the case of Vigonovo, but invites to have patience: “First of all I will have to ascertain that it doesn't deal with a joke, or with a natural event, as sometimes happen with the games that the wind does. Verified this, it is necessary to analyze the seedlings of the crop. If the stems are broken it doesn't deal with superior strengths, but of someone whom has mechanically acted. Otherwise, if the seedlings are folded up, then we could begun to speak of genuine pictogram.” How can be to folded up the stems of a field? “In these cases happens that a source of heat has absorbed all the water of the vegetation creating so a folding of the stems. For now it is difficult to me to make other considerations on the discovery of Vigonovo, even if I can say that this is the correct season for similar alien demonstrations. To Nervesa, for instance, I believe it dealt with the presence of a superior strength.” The immediate question is: who are theese aliens? «Spheres of intelligent energy», it concludes Chiumiento, “they leave that messages but we don't succeed in deciphering them.” Finally the article of “al.san” that quote the physicist Maurizio Morando's opinion: [...] “nothing can absolutely make to think to a landing deprived of consequences on the same ground”. In fact, according to Morando «the heat emitted by a motor would owe as minimum to burn the grass or to dilate the ground around the circles. Also hypothesizing that it deals with a flying object of small upcoming dimensions from the space, the only attrition of the air caused by the brake, should increase so much the heat around the coachwork to make it almost incandescent. From how much it has been reported to me, the grass in the field of Vigonovo has been just folded up and there are no signs of scorches or pivots that are supported to the ground: for now the disposition technologies of the man have not arrived to such a level of perfection». But How a mechanism of brake on the ground would work? “Is some contrary to that of the throwing of a rocket - says Morando - because, to stop a flying object of those dimensions, would be necessary a throw of air that acts as real "braking pillow". For this reason the move of the air would not be circumscribed to the perimeter of the nacelle but it would move the grass in the ray of about ten meters, some as it happens for the landing of a helicopter. [...] In the United States researchers are planning an ions motor that doesn't emit too much heat and therefore it would be able not to also burn the vegetation. Also in this case, however, the only braking strength and the consequent move of air, should create a real crater and not to confine itself to caress some grass.” In the afternoon of Thursday May 12 th 2005, a collaborator of the site www.croponline.org, Francesca, was in Vigonovo, where the rumors about the appearance of a crop circle had already spread. [...] She tells that the owner of the field think that the folding of the wheat has been caused by the wind. To my opinion - she says - the circle is not authentic, considering the presence inside the formation of broken ears. It is to consider however that they were departed quite a lot days from the formation of the circles, and the stamping of the curious ones had provoked some damages altering the initial sketch of the pictogram.[...] Also Maria Morganti and Luciano Gasparini, for the association "La Corona", have taken some pics of this case. [...] They say that don't want to assume the faculty to declare “true” or “false” such crop circle, but - thay say - we have the complete awareness that it is not possible to produce such and amazing effects just manually or just considering atmospheric agents.
