The journal "Gazzetta di Parma" on September 22 nd 2004 proposes an article of Cecilia Benaglia about a crop circle appeared in Coloreto: “The ufos return. And they seem those of Panocchia” ” A sketch, identical to that appeared in a field of wheat in Panocchia in last June, has appeared in the night in a field of medical grass in Coloreto. «Is the first time in the world - explains the biologist and ufologist of the C.U.N. and Center "Galileo", George Pattera - that a pictogram repeats itself identically, it concerns indeed an exceptional fact». The sketch reproduces chained circles, and people crowd on the place. It is found in a field, alone 150 meters away from the road, but it is not visible from the roadway. It has been discovered from the holder of the farm, only when he has seen the grass crushed in strange, unnatural way. Naturally nobody, among the inhabitants of the zone, has seen neither felt something strange. Someone speaks of ufo, of alien presences, but Pattera invites to think twice. «This pictogram - says the biologist - it is of smaller dimensions in comparison to that of Panocchia, and slightly inaccurate, but the sketch is unequivocal. The three circles are not equal neither perfect. The one pointing to south it has a diameter of 6,10 meters, the same as the one pointing to north. The one pointing to east has instead a diameter of 6 meters and 80 centimeters. We will now have to analyze the folded up medical grass, and it will take at least about ten days. Nevertheless, if for the episode of June I had expressed a rapid reaction (50% for the ufos and 50% for some jokers) this time I feel free to compromise myself even before the analyses. The hypothesis of the «human» joke is certainly more consistent. Maybe they are even the same people of Panocchia, that have not even wanted to make an effort of imagination more». Despite the denials and the revelations of the work of terrestrial hands in the fields to create these sketches in various parts of the world, the crop circles keep on practicing their charm, and to instigate curiosity and imagination. It is of last Sunday the news of a curious sketch appeared in a field of rice (cultivation used to this purpose for the first time in Italy) in Vigevano, on which investigates also the "Galileo" Center in Parma. «To the beginning they were defined «circles in the wheat» because were the fields of this cereal to be select. Now instead they are found everywhere: rice, corn, barley, oat, bowline. And then in this season the wheat has already been reaped, therefore, whoever has been, has had to fall back on the medical grass. It is very curious however that three exact months later, in the same zone, an identical pictogram repeats, just in smaller scale.” Cecilia Benaglia, "Gazzetta di Parma", 22/09/2004The similitude with the crop appeared in Panocchia three months before, has also been put in evidence by Francis Castagna (ufologia.net) that we thank for the informations that follow:“The same image represented in the crop circle of Panocchia (Parma) at the end of last June in a field of wheat, has been found again 3 months later in a field of medical grass that is found between Coloreto and Malandriano. The differences among the two crops circles, besides the type of cultivated ground, they are the followings: the dimensions and the precision of the crop circles of Coloreto are decidedly inferior in comparison to the image appeared 3 months ago. The 3 chained circles with 3 petals to the center they don't have the same diameter. The diameter of the biggest circle is around 7 meters, while the others two have a diameter of around 6 meters. The medical grass is folded up in circular sense with the same technique with which it has been realized “greater sister”. With every probability, the authors of this formation are the same that have "worked" during last the summer. The crop circle beside, aroused so much curiosity and a continuous pilgrimage in the small country of Panocchia, while the autumn version doesn't seem to have received the same success. Before finding the crop I have asked to about ten resident people in the zone if they knew the field in matter but nobody has been able to point out for me the exact place. Fortunately I have also asked the question to the sister-in-law of the owner of the field, and she has kindly pointed out the place. From the road it is absolutely not visible, but easily attainable; the lady has told that her brother-in-law has noticed the formation while he was cutting the medical grass of the field. (you can see some photos in the PDF version of this document). I have photographed the formation with the aid of a pipe of metal to get a more comprehensible view of the image. The presence of the 3 petals immediately reminded me to the summer crop circle, even if the autumn version is more miserable. Personally I have not succeeded in understanding if the authors have realized this formation in order to "exercise" or with the intention to make people finding it, and to get the same success of the precedent.” Finally, according to the C.U.N., it is a forgery.
