On June 6th near Furato (Milan) Ser Arnaldo C. (called “Ary”), comes upon a curious formation in the wheat. We report his declarations and images (http://ary3.altervista.org /): “From a couple of days, moving toward some roads of the country, I had noticed that this field of ears showed some strange zones with "absence of ears". This morning I have stayed and I have noticed that the ears were refolded as in the famous classical crop circles of which the curious chronicles of the whole world are full. Unfortunately I have not had the possibility to take aereal photographs, so I don't know if it deals with a regular geometric sketch. I have not noticed "paths of access" except the one I have left approaching the crop. I don't understand if it deals with a joke or if there is some profit in folding up the ears that way, keeping the contour of the field intact. Besides it is the only field of the zone that shows this phenomenon." It would seem, actually, a so-called “anomalous” crop; irregular. It seems, at first sight, due to natural phenomenons as wind and rain. However Arnaldo has written that the field has been then sowed again, and in the following season of the reaping, in that precise zone interested by the phenomenon, nothing is grown. Problem of agronomy or mystery? |
