Thanks to the daily paper “Il Tirreno” (Lucca edition) we have been able to follow the developments about a crop circle probably recovered on June 3 rd 2004 near Nozzano. We report three following articles of the newspaper devoted to this case. LUCCA. It makes to discuss, in Nozzano, the strange phenomenon that is verified in a field of wheat in the last days: in some points the wheat is folded up in the same direction without however that the ears were broken. To realize what happened (probably due to atmospheric phenomenons) have been some agriculturists that have wondered what could have folded up the ears. It could also have been a violent downpour accompanied by gusts of wind, but after the mysterious circles found in Orciano (Pisa) someone has thought about the passage of an Ufo. The signs of Nozzano are not geometric however as those of Orciano. We find online newsgroups and newsletters in which it is spoken about this case, and the user “Arconte” testifies to have seen the formation: I have seen them (the circles) yesterday night and again this morning... as regard their geometric forms, are not so good, but rather some of the characteristics of the crops there are present: the ears of wheat are folded up and not broken, and all in the usual verse...But it deals with a natural folding, as it confirms an article of “Il Tirreno” entitled "Nozzano, ears of bowline, the folding is natural." LUCCA. About the folded up ears in Nozzano, a greater knowledge of the agriculture would have avoided to talk about Ufos. The nonexistent mystery is disclosed by the owner of the fields: the ears are of bowline and not of wheat, and the folding it is a fact due to the natural maturation of the ears. «There is no supposition to do - she explains the lady - because it is well-known that when the bowline comes to the maturation it folds up at the height of the thorn. In this case could also have had some influence the rain and wind, but it is to exclude in the most categorical way that it could be the action of the Ufos. The news has recalled on the place numerous curious, that wanted to verify by themselves in fist person: they have crushed big part of the field, causing many damages to us». In forenoon, before the explanation, the ufologic research center "Shado", in "Borgo a Mozzano", had made an external recognition, sustaining not to be able to give an univocal evaluation about what happened. Some perfectly geometric cuts have not convinced them, but it is not excluded that can be work of some jokers. 06-06-04, "Il Tirreno", pag. 3, Lucca editionThree days later (09.06.2004) come out another article by "Il Tirreno". Let's read.No Ufos, but damages to the crops. LUCCA. The owner of the field in Nozzano (where in the last days is verified the phenomenon of the folding up of the ears of bowline, quibbled and equivocated with the passage of Ufos) will report against all the people that are destroying his crop. «Since Saturday it is a desperation - says the agriculturist, Francesco Chiocca - it is a continuous coming and going of curious that, seen the images in Tv, run about inside my fields damaging the crops. I have also called the police, but the agents cannot be always here. I am exasperated: I have tried to dissuade the curious ones, with the result that they tried to attack me, not only verbally». Easily misunderstood with supernatural phenomenon, the episode of the ears - of bowline, and not of wheat - naturally folded up by the growth and by the storms, is causing damages that Chiocca is not prepared to suffer anymore. Finally we find an indication of this case even on some sites that are dealt with crop circles and connatural events. For instance “Space-Ufo” confirms that “a strange formation appears on a field of wheat in Nozzano, but this time it is clear that it deals with something due to the strong waves of wind that are demolishing the all zone.” |
