From the lower part of the hill of Poggio delle pietre (Orciano, Pisa), it could be noticed a great a great "six points star" contained in a circle while another circle inside served it as a frame. The newspaper "Il Tirreno" on June 3 rd 2004 give some news about it. Extraterrestrials with human foot. ORCIANO - they have returned the extraterrestrials that however they could have... human feet. There is who is ready to swear to have seen yesterday morning, next to gigantic circles of wheat, appeared on the green hills of Orciano, imprints of shoes. [...]Have the extraterrestrials returned? [...] Who has seen them? - To discover the phenomenon has been Raffaella Niccolini, that everybody know in the zone because she managesa club. At 8 o'clock, it went to take the brioches for the cafe, when she has seen the strange pictogram. The voice has quickly spread everywhere in the nearby. And so the alderman Giorgio Guglielmi, 52 years and so many others have arrived, including the owner of the petrol pump attendant Max Bientinesi. [...] The following day "Il Tirreno" write another article on the case. Mystery in Orciano, so many curious people come to see the signs in the wheat. Orciano. The circles in the wheat, with such geometric sketches to the inside to be recalled the image of a star to five or six points according to the perspective from which it is observed, they have called back a lot of people on the hills of Orciano Pisano. “Today in country everyone speak about it - says Paolo Luci. [...] To conclude the investigation, is tried also to discover, from the people of the country, if in that days there were verified strange anomalous phenomenons [...] At the moment is not yet easy to establish the nature and the cause of the phenomenon appeared on the hill of Orciano, and we are waiting for the results of the analyses on the samples for a final judgment. [...] the ears seemed abandoned only in one direction, but mainly broken to the base, without particular signs of extension of the knots. In the center of the pictogram, a vague spiral-circular sign in the ears has been found of the ears, and in some corridors of contour, the experts of the C.U.N. have noticed some interesting details. Some ears showed the recognized typical folding of the crops considered genuine, but too few to establish the authenticity of the crop. While the measures were taken and was tried to make a graphic reconstruction of the pictogram from the inside, it was found that the diameter of the circle measured 45 meters, from the high to the lower part of the hill, while in the opposite sense it measured 46 meters. The corridor esternal to the "star", that greater measured about 2,10 meters, while the part of erected ears that served as contour to the sketch it was of around 1 meter, as almost all the other corridors that the created the various segments of the crop.
