The one appeared on June 4 th 2004 in Sabaudia is one of the most beautiful italian crop circles and one of the more discussed and controversial of the year (also because in the same field an analogous case was verified exactly one year before). Saturday, June 5 th, the day after its recovery, the newspaper "Il Tempo" already writes about it, with an on-line article by Romano Tripodi. What follows is our translation of some parts extracted from the newspaper article. This time on an area of property of Stefano Bedin, always in Sant'Andrea, between the Coast road and the sea. One year after the discovery of the «crop circles» in the field of Cenci's family the phenomenon is repeated. SABAUDIA — Messages from distant Galaxies or exercises of human jokers with great familiarity with the sketch and the geometry? Others "crop circles" [...] have appeared some days ago on a field of wheat ownership of Stefano Bedin [...] in the zone Sant'Andrea. The farm is distant few hundred meters from that of the family Cenci, where last year (first of June 2003) appeared other concentric circles. The "crop circles", that unknown hands have traced in the most inside sector of the farm of Stefano Bedin, they are characterized by a double central concentric circle on which the profile of a figure and a strange symbol appear, and by other two side circles: that to the left more complex, that to the right, that is also the smallest, it is perfectly circular. Unlike the "crop circles" of last years, those ones are only visible from hight points, or aereal view. Infact to acknowledge their presence has not been the agriculturist of Sant'Andrea, on the contrary one of the pilots taken off by the near aeroclub "Fabio Dapit". And only climbing on a small tourism airplane the reporter has succeeded in ascertaining that the voices lowly circulated Thursday evening to the cafe Zannoni, in the place Sacrament, was in conformity with the truth. Between Sacrament and Sant'Andrea the distance is relatively brief. In attended that on the phenomenon returns to speak the experts of ufologia or however how much they believe in the existence of the extraterrestrials or however of "superior intelligence" to break the reserve, to pact not to be photographed, it is really Stephen Bedin. The owner of the field on which have been traced the "crop circles" is firmly convinced that it deals with the work of some "joker". «The circles have been done - at the most - two evenings ago, when the zone was illuminated by the full moon», explains the owner of the ground. Waiting for clarifying answers, it is to wonder why also this time nobody has heard or acknowledged anything. Few days later, again the newspaper "Il Tempo" print a new article on this case, entitled "THE CROP CIRCLES OF SABAUDIA REAPPEARS." After the ploughing and the seeding the anxious images in the farm of Bedin generate disconcertment among the people. Many other articles, ansa-news and rumors are written in various journals and spoken by the people (some of them quoted in the PDF version of this document). Various researchers have been involved in the case. For instance the C.R.O.P. (Operational Center of Searches on the Paranormal), with a relationship of Mark Garbati that we quote: Composed by three circles with a ray of around 25m everyone (the central one is a little greater); there are no electromagnetic anomalies.. and the stems are folded up probably by a sort of table. Small and simple, it takes back the logo of an association that - coincidence! - is just 300 meters straight far ... Unfortunately the field has been ransacked, mopeds and vandals have passed over there... therefore the data are very polluted. Here are some photos of the formation (see PDF version). We note the beauty, even if it could have been hand-made. [...] All the people that have entered the crop circle have had fits of dizziness. Generally happen some strange reactions inside the crops, to whom is very sensitive, but very probably they have to be associated to the lived emotion. The true strangeness is in that kind of key that is inside a circle. This key doesn't appear on the logo of the near firm. C.R.O.P. report also a comment given by an expert found on the place. He said that the crops circles are not perfectly round but slightly oval. Their crisp edges are formed from the flattened crop, as if they were drawn with a compass and engraved with surgical precision. Among the other anomalies there is the increase of production of infrared on every new formation, and that means that the content of heat of the plants has been modified. Brief-life radioactive isotopes have also been found in the ground where genuine crop circles have appeared (these isotopes disperse after three or four hours), and the ground around them seems to have been cooked. Other testimony that we take into account is that of the director of the magazine “Hera”, Adriano Forgione: I have personally investigated the Circle in the Wheat of Sabaudia, that I certainly consider authentic. I have developed the investigation the day 6th of June 2004.. After having overflight the zone with an airplane and realized the photos (see PDF version of this document) with Roberto Volterri, we have been welcomed by the owner of the field Stefano Bedin, that has kindly granted us the entry to the farm, otherwise impossible. Formation is rather great 110 meters length. Why I do consider it genuine-authentic? Because I have found ears burnt on the first nodule, that appeared folded up, unlike the other nodules still fresh and green: sign of the energetic imposition that has acted on the ears. Moreover, in the circle located to the right extremity[...], the smallest one [...] thera are a series of plants entangled in "impossible" way, certainly becuase of the energetic aggregation that has assumed a sort of "eddy course" in that point. I have withdrawn, and it is in my possession, also an ear with a bug, a small coleopter, attached for the rostrum to the seeds, fused with them. The rest of the body is lifted up in perpendicular in comparison to the ear in a sort of spasm that has made him lengthen the neck. The surface of the caress is cooked and misses completely of entrails (in against the light it is absolutely transparent), evaporated as it happens for the nodules radiated by a strong electromagnetic field. The bug and the ear were situated inside the second ring of dejected ears, in the circle characterized by the central key. All of this has convinced me of its authenticity. But now we even call upon the sceptics to speak: The Cicap entrusts Mirco Corridori (of the “Cicap Lazio”) to complete an investigation on the circle of Sabaudia. So let's see what Corridori affirms (for the original and integral version please visit the cICAP site). From a first analysis of the aerial photos it has immediately jumped to the eye the presence of the symbol "F" in the left circle; the symbol derives from a hieroglyph "Neteru": "those people that observe us from the sky". This hieroglyph has been in partnership to the legend of the inhabitants of the tenth planet Nibiru, visible every 3600 years. Nibiru would have had to be sighted in the 2004 spring, but it wasn't. The external circle has a thickness of 2 meters, the one inside of 4,80 meters around. The "F", said also "key" , it is formed from a segment of 1,30 meters and a second segment of 2,30 meters length. Both are thick a meter. Also the principal auction of the key has the thickness of a meter. The final circle nearby to it and coincident with the center of the circle of left, it has a diameter of 2 meters. The circle of right has a diameter of around 20 meters and introduces a smaller circle to its inside, decentralized, that showed an anomalous braid of ears, later withdrawn for a more deepened research on it. Unfortunately Stefano Bedin, the owner of the ground, has not known how to point out the organization that has withdrawn the braid. It's interesting to specify that also last year numerous organizations and institutes, included the omnipresent university "La Sapienza" in Rome, they have withdrawn samples of wheat and ground without however to divulge the results of the searches. The decentralized circle has a diameter of 2 meters. The line that unites the three great circles has the thickness of a meter. You will certainly have noticed that the measurements reveal an abundant presence of lines and rays which circumference is always about a meter. This make to think therefore that a metallic roll or an auction of such length has been used for the realization of the pictogram. Corridori go on then with geometric analises of the pictogram, showing how it is ruled by a sequence of "1,2,4,5" values, and a similar procedure has been used for the realization of the 2003 crop circle. Also the lsat year circle showed references to Nibiru, introducing precise geometric rules that in every way they don't absolutely show any supernatural nature. More than a message almost seems to be a signature. - Searching for anomalies. Stephen Bedin [...] has noticed that the ears of wheat were not folded up as they should be, but coarsely broken to the base [...] Once entered inside the circle I have done everything possible in the search of the anomalies. Taking as example a study of W.C. Levengood, I have withdrawn a sample of 30 ears in casual way and I has meticulously sought possible died bugs attached for the rostrum, exploded knots, knots greater than normal and scorches. In no-one of the withdrawn sample I have succeeded in finding anomalies of this kind. They are to underline two small curiosities: in some cases the ears of the wheat were folded up downward. This can be caused by two factors, the first one concerns the birds that are placed on the wheat not yet mature spoiling the growth, in fact the edges of the field in which the birds are brought of it introduces more often an elevated number of ears folded up downward. The second factor is due, according to Stephen Bedin, to the heaviness of the ear. To attract the attention of all the presents however, has been the recovery of a burnt ear. Apparently some grains of this ear seemed charred, but a better look has been enough to understand that it had been simply covered of dung of bug. The two compasses used for appraising the geographical orientation of the crop circles have not shown anomalies of the magnetic field. Stefano Bedin has also denied in the most absolute way the news of indispositions occurred to some tourists once entered the circle. Some unfounded voices would have sustained besides, that the local police would have taken in consideration the possibility to set under sequestration the ground because of these presumed magnetic anomalies. Also the sighting of spheres of light in the outskirtses of the ground reenters in the casuistry of the not verified rumors. The most evident proof that the circle is of human nature, is visible analyzing the central circle. It shows in more points some unjustified bending toward the inside (just observe the photos). It is a clear and evident demonstration of the fact that in that points the rope or the string used for tracing the circumference departing from the center, have been loosened as much as enough to commit the fatal error. A good agriculturist as Stephen Bedin knows how to recognize every small trace left on his own ground. Its sceptic nature has induced him to look for traces of the passage of people. He has made me notice numerous imprints of shoes presumably left on the ground by two or three people.
