The news is first given by the newspaper “La Nuova Provincia”, on June 4 th 2004. We report it.

Alien or simple joke of some jokers? In Vaglierano, near Asti, some signs - reminding "crop circles" - have appeared yesterday afternoon in a field of wheat [...]
The phenomenon has been signalled by a bicyclist that was passing in the nearby and that has noticed, to his right side, a field of wheat in which the grass had been folded up forming a strange sketch, perhaps an incomplete semicircle. After a few hours, other people have stopped on the road and the phenomenon of the crops circles has come up again. The crops circles are unusual sketches that jump out from nothing and that since years they feed the belief in the extraterrestrial life.
In the case of Vaglierano it is more probable than the phenomenon doesn't really deal with extraterrestrials but, in truth, of the nth joke of some joker.
